- to keep a record of, and to contact you about, your free pack entitlements;
- to respond to your queries and to provide you with information about PROPECIA which you have requested; and
- any specific purpose which we notify you of at the time your personal information is collected.
We may also use your personal information to analyse the demographics of our REWARDS programme members, such as ages and geographical locations. However, you will not be personally identified in any reports we produce or compile in relation to the demographics of our REWARDS programme members.
You can choose to be permanently removed from our mailing lists at any time (see below).
How will we protect the personal information you provide?
Information you choose to give to MERCK SHARP & DOHME NZ LTD is stored on a secure server with our Internet Service Provider (ISP) or on our own secure server.
How can you check your details or be removed from our database?
You may check the personal information we hold, correct any mistakes, or ask to be permanently removed from our mailing lists at any time. Please click here to email requesting a data check or click here to send us an opt-out request.

How do we collect information from you?
PROPECIA.co.nz and Keephair.com do not gather personal information about you without your knowledge. However, you may choose to give certain information to us, e.g. an email address or your areas of interest. We use your computer's IP address - an identifier allocated automatically by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) - to help administer our web site. This allows us to gather broad demographic information only, such as what country you are from or what ISP you use.
Your computer's IP address does not provide any personal details.
What if our privacy policy changes?
MERCK SHARP & DOHME NZ LTD may update this privacy statement from time to time. All those included on the database will be notified by email when and if this occurs, and be reminded of the opportunity to be permanently removed from our database.
